At PediaSpeech, our experienced team is passionate about helping children. Serving families throughout the Atlanta area, we combine evidence-based speech therapy with compassionate, individualized care to support each child’s unique strengths and goals. We believe the best outcomes happen through strong partnerships with families, creating personalized therapy plans that foster confidence, independence, and lasting progress both in and out of the therapy room.

Clinical Staff

Our experienced Speech-Language Pathologists are committed to helping clients and families by creating and providing the most effective individualized treatment plans. All of our Speech-Language therapists are fully accredited by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and licensed by Georgia State Professional Licensing Board.

Jennifer McCullough, M.S. CCC-SLP

Jennifer received her Bachelor’s degree in Child Psychology at The University of Western Ontario, followed by a Master’s of Science in Communication Disorders from Massachusetts Institute of Health Professions, Boston, MA. Jennifer has over 25 years of experience as a pediatric speech and feeding specialist. Prior to starting PediaSpeech, Jennifer worked as a supervising speech therapist at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Jennifer is P.R.O.M.P.T., Beckman, Kauffman, SOS (Sequential-Oral-Sensory) and Sara Rosenfield-Johnson, Get Permission trained for Apraxia, feeding and oral motor disorders.

Jennifer also has specialized training in Orton-Gillingham as a reading specialist. She is a trained orofacial myofunctional therapist and works closely with local orthodontists to treat reverse swallow patterns and tongue thrust. Jennifer is married and has two grown children who live outside of Georgia, whom she loves to visit! Jennifer resides in Decatur and enjoys traveling, Pilates, playing tennis and reading.

Carly Cumberlander, M.Ed., CCC-SLP

Carly received her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama. She continued her education at Valdosta State University where she obtained a Masters of Education in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Carly joined PediaSpeech as a Speech-Language Pathologist because of her absolute love of children and to help parents in a one-on-one setting get kids to their fullest potential with communication. Before joining the PediaSpeech team, Carly worked in a variety of different settings, including pediatric clinics, preschools, elementary schools, and hospitals. As a practicing clinician, Carly has treated a variety of speech and language disorders and symptoms including autism, Down Syndrome, childhood apraxia of speech, developmental delay, brain injury, sensory and behavioral feeding disorders and medically-based feeding disorders. Carly is trained in P.R.O.M.P.T., Beckman Oral Motor, and SOS (Sequential-Oral-Sensory) feeding program, and Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy. Carly is specifically passionate about early language development associated with different diagnoses such as apraxia that result in expressive language delays in young children. Carly is also a trained feeding therapist with experience with newborns and young children with oral motor and sensory-based feeding difficulties.

Carly lives in North Atlanta with her husband and sons, DJ and Davis. They enjoy spending time together, traveling, going to concerts and sporting events.

Kayla Santoro, M.C.D. CCC-SLP

Kayla received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communicative Disorders at The University of Alabama, followed by a Masters of Communication Disorders in Speech-Language Pathology from Auburn University. During graduate school, Kayla completed her internship at United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Birmingham in Birmingham, Alabama, and was able to implement therapy with a wide range of pediatric clients, including those with speech, language, and feeding disorders. Before joining the team at PediaSpeech, Kayla worked in a number of different settings, including outpatient clinics, preschools, and rehabilitation hospitals.

As a practicing clinician at PediaSpeech, Kayla has treated a variety of speech and language disorders and symptoms including expressive and receptive language disorders, Autism, Down Syndrome, childhood apraxia of speech, developmental delays, articulation/phonological disorders, fluency disorders, and language-based reading disorders. Kayla received P.R.O.M.P.T. certification in April of 2019 and has since loved implementing these techniques into many of her therapy sessions. Kayla absolutely loves working with children of all ages and finds joy in in helping them reach their fullest potential.

Kayla enjoys traveling with family and friends, taking barre classes, spending time outdoors, and watching Alabama football. Kayla grew up in Tuscaloosa, AL, but has resided in Atlanta since the summer of 2015 when she joined the PediaSpeech team.

Sydney Ponce de Leon, M.S., CCC-SLP

Sydney joined the team as a Speech-Language Pathologist because of her passion for helping children of all ages grow and strengthen their communication skills and find their voice. She attended Florida State University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Family and Child Sciences, then continued her studies at the University of South Alabama where she obtained a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. During her graduate studies, Sydney gained experience in a variety of settings, such as outpatient clinics, preschools, elementary schools, adult rehabilitation centers, and hospitals. Sydney has conducted therapy with a wide range of pediatric clients. She has worked with varying diagnoses, such as autism, Down Syndrome, developmental delay, speech sound disorder, phonological disorder, receptive and expressive language disorder, childhood apraxia of speech, oral-motor difficulties, and pediatric feeding disorder.

Sydney is trained in Kaufman methods for evaluation and treatment of Childhood Apraxia of Speech, SOS (Sequential-Oral-Sensory) feeding program, Beckman Oral Motor, Feed the Peds Infant and Toddler Feeding and Swallowing program, Feeding Therapy: A Sensory-Motor Approach, Tricking Transitions: Breast/Bottle to Table, 3-Part Treatment Plan for OPT, Diagnosis and Treatment of CAS Using Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC), and TummyTime! Method: Pre/Post Frenectomy Oral Training. In her free time, Sydney loves to spend time with family and friends, travel to new places, and cheer on the Florida State Seminoles! Sydney grew up in South Florida and now lives in Brookhaven with her husband, twin girls, and fur baby.

Alasia Hawkins, A.A.S.COTA/L

Alasia earned her Associate of Applied Science degree from Chattahoochee Technical College in Canton, Georgia. Throughout her academic journey, she gained valuable experience in various settings, including acute care facilities, pediatric clinics, and autism centers. She also volunteered at a hippotherapy treatment facility, working closely with families exploring nature-centered therapy.

Alasia has a considerable amount of experience working with children who have a range of diagnoses, including Cerebral Palsy (CP), autism, Down syndrome, ADHD, and developmental delays. She joined PediaSpeech as an Occupational Therapy Assistant because of her passion for helping children achieve independence and reach their full potential. Her approach to therapy combines creativity with practicality, ensuring practical and enjoyable sessions. Alasia finds excellent fulfillment in celebrating a child’s progress—whether it’s increased confidence, comfort in their skin, or achieving therapeutic goals.

Fluent in English and Russian, Alasia enjoys spending her free time walking, being with her large family, traveling with her husband, and relaxing at home with her three fur babies.

Allison Satterlee MA, CCC-SLP, CLC, TOTS

Allison received her undergraduate degree in Communication Disorders from Florida State University and a Masters of Art in Communication Disorders from Louisiana State University. She is specialized in feeding through many continuing education programs including SOFFI® and TOTS training, and has received a certificate for a Vital Stim Specialty as well as a CLC-Certificate of Lactation Counseling.

With over 35 years of experience, Allison has worked in hospitals, NICU clinic, a dentist office, rehabilitation facilities, schools, and private clinics. She has dedicated her career to treating children with a range of diagnoses including, but not limited to, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, autism, cleft palate, hearing loss, and feeding difficulties.

Allison has known she would become a Speech Pathologist since she was 9 years old; after tagging along to her younger brother’s speech therapy sessions at Children’s Hospital New Orleans. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, biking, yoga, and tennis. Allison‘s little extra is her smile, always showing grace and compassion for her patients and their families.

Eleanor Chandhok M.S., OTR/L

Eleanor received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Occupational Therapy from Boston University. She began her career working in schools, clinic, and patient homes in Bluffton, South Carolina, where she gained experience supporting children across a variety of settings. In 2020, she moved to Atlanta and has been serving families in the area ever since.

As an occupational therapist, Eleanor loves building strong connections with her clients and their families. She finds joy in helping children achieve greater independence and confidence in their daily lives. She especially enjoys seeing the pride on a child’s face after reaching a new milestone—no matter how big or small.

In her free time, Eleanor enjoys exploring Atlanta, trying new restaurants and coffee shops, spending time with friends and family, and relaxing at home. On weekends, you can often find her walking on the Beltline or discovering new spots in her neighborhood. She currently lives in Atlanta and feels lucky to call the city home.

Jordan Robinson M.S., CCC-SLP

Jordan is originally from Florence, Alabama. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders with a concentration in Kinesiology from Auburn University. She went on to earn her Master’s degree in Speech and Hearing Science from Tennessee State University, and resided in Nashville before relocating to Georgia in 2022.

Although Jordan’s passion is pediatrics, she has experience working with a wide range of populations from preschool age to geriatrics. As a practicing clinician, Jordan has treated a variety of communication disorders including articulation and phonological disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, cognitive-communication disorders, fluency disorders, voice disorders, and feeding difficulties. Jordan is especially passionate about early language development and loves working with children who are Gestalt Language Processors, supporting them as they build meaningful, functional communication.

In her free time, Jordan enjoys reading, running, traveling—especially to Disney World or anywhere with a good roller coaster—and spending time with family and friends.

Blakely Hammonds M.S. CCC-SLP.

Blakely is originally from Andalusia, Alabama. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from Auburn University in 2022 (War Eagle!). Blakely earned her Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of South Alabama in 2024. After graduate school, Blakely moved to Navarre, Florida. While there, she gained experience at a pediatric interdisciplinary private practice that specialized in collaborative therapy services for children on the autism spectrum. She relocated to the Atlanta area in 2026.

Blakely has experience in a variety of pediatric settings, several of which specialized in serving children on the autism spectrum and hearing loss. She enjoys pediatric language development, speech sound disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, gestalt language processing, pragmatic language, and AAC. Blakely is passionate about building and supporting functional communication skills for all children.

In her downtime, Blakely enjoys travelling, hiking, reading, crafts, and spending time with her family, friends, and pets.

Julie Cosby

Julie is the Office Manager and your first point of contact at PediaSpeech Services, Inc. She manages new patient intake and scheduling the initial patient evaluations for the practice. Her experience and dedication to customer service is evident with each client encounter.

Julie is a Georgia native and loves spending time with her family and friends. Her children are her biggest inspirations, and she couldn’t be prouder of them. She enjoys music, travel and exploring new restaurants.

John ligon

With over 20 years of customer service experience and 10+ years in insurance and medical billing, John Ligon brings clarity, consistency, and compassion to the revenue cycle process. He works behind the scenes with PediaSpeech to manage claims, follow up on denials, and streamline insurance workflows so our providers can focus on patient care. John is known for his thoroughness, responsiveness, and ability to explain complex billing matters in a way that makes sense to both staff and families. He takes pride in being a reliable partner clinics can trust.
